The action convened by the “Youth Against Racism” committee was successful: more than 8 thousand students mobilized on April 27 in many cities, showing their solidarity with the refugees.

This video published in Klasse gegen Klasse (“Class against class”, a German website) shows the spirit and combativity of the youth people in that mobilized against racism and the right in Munich and in other cities.

Next weekend —on May 21 and 22— the Committee will hold a press conference in Berlin, where they will debate the next steps to take in a fight against xenophobic and extreme right movements, such as Alternative for Germany and PEGIDA, but also against Merkel’s government, which expels refugees and carries out military actions in the Middle East and Africa.
