Thousands of people took to the streets of Saná, Yemen’s capital, to condemn the crimes of Saudi Arabia and its allies, which have caused thousands of deaths.

With three weeks left to reach the second anniversary of the beginning of Saudi’s military intervention in Yemen, the people does not forget and does not show any signals of resignation to the two-year siege they hae been under.

A crowd condemned the non-stop Saudi attacks and showed support to the Yemeni popular movement Ansarolá. The protesters assured that they will keep resisting Riad’s atrocities.

Yemenis also complained about the recent aerial incursions that the US has executed against their country, under the excuse of fighting the terrorist group Al-Qaeda, leaving several civilians casualties. According to the Pentagon, Washington has been performing 30 attacks since this Thursday using a great number of drones.

According to the participants, the United States is an accomplice to the Saudi’s crimes at Yemen, mainly by providing weapons to the Monarchic regime that are then used against civilians.

Over 10 thousand people have died in Yemen since the inception of a war that also destroyed the infrastructure of Middle East’s poorest country. The United Nations Organization calculates that over the half of Yemen’s population suffers from food insecurity.
