In the night of September 26 of 2014, the federal and municipal police of Iguala, Guerrero state, attacked students of the Normal Rural School of Ayotzinapa that were going in buses to the capital in order to commemorate the Tlatelolco massacre of 1968. The balance of the repression was of 6 casualties and 43 disappeared students. Without any advancements in the investigation, their relatives are still claiming justice and denouncing the responsibility of the State.

In the Ayotzinapa case it is important to “identify, investigate and give exemplary sanctions” to the responsibles of the disappearances of 43 normalists, assured the president of the Inter American Commission of Human Rights (CIDH), Francisco José Eguiguren.
He pointed out that in spite of the “important advancements” in the investigation work, the “big task” is to have news on the whereabouts of the location of the 43 students, of them or of their bodies.
“This is the expected result to be achieved soon enough, and I believe that important steps are been done for that”, pointed out Eguiguren.

Past week, the members of the Monitoring Mechanism of the CIDH for the Ayotzinapa case arrived to Mexico and the Spokeswoman of the organism, Esmeralda Arozamena de Troitiño, reaffirmed her commitment with the investigations of the events of September 26, 201, when the normalists disappeared.

“I have faith and I am conscious that in this opportunity we will close the case”, assured Arozamena, who committed with the parents to “do all the efforts needed” to reach the response “they have the right to get”.
She underlined that her visit to the Normal Raúl Isidro Burgos in Ayotzinapa was “not only to fulfill the mandate of the monitoring, but also as a commitment of life”.

On their part, the parents of the normalist children assured that they will continue with their struggle until they know the whereabouts of their children and until sanctions are applied against the material and intellectual authors of the crime.

Relatives of the 43 students of the Normal Rural Raúl Isidro Burgos, of Ayotzinapa, and social organization called upon the “36th Global Action for Ayotzinapa and Mexico” and for a national march on September 26, from the Independence Angel to the Zócalo in the City of Mexico, to demand the safe appearance of the young students that disappeared almost 3 years ago.
In social networks and in webpages of social organization the call to assist to this manifestations started circulating, while pointing out that after 36 months of the incident no results in the investigations have been reached.

“We demand concrete results in the investigations, the safe appearance, no more lies and simulations”, are the demands of the relatives of the 43 students disappeared on September 26 of 2014 in Iguala, Guerrero.

In a video of the Committee of the Mothers and Fathers of the 43, the relatives expose, among other things, that the proofs indicate that at least 25 of the disappeared were detained and taken to the Huitzuco town, where elements of the Federal, Municipal, Ministerial and State security officials participated.

They assure that the Republic’s General Attorney (PGR) has a thousand phones that have been analyzed, and 17 of them are of the disappeared students Also that “since April 2016, the results of the geolocalization and the contents of the conversations has not been delivered to the mothers and fathers of the students”, a recording indicates.

As a fourth point, the video points that the principal motive of the aggression towards the Ayotzinapa students has to do with the drug racking that the United Warriors cartel was performing from Iguala to Chicago, for which they demanded “to advance in this line of investigation until its clarification”.
