On the fourth anniversary of the death of Venezuelan leader Hugo Chávez, the documentary ‘Chávez, infinite’, will be premiered on the screen of TeleSUR. Its author is Argentine filmmaker María Laura Vázquez, who worked together with Oliver Stone in the films Al Sur de la Frontera (South of the Border) and Mi Amigo Hugo (My Friend Hugo). Eight Venezuelan protagonists give their moving and passionate views on the deceased leader.
The Commander of the Bolivarian Revolution is depicted through never-seen-before archive images, from his first steps in Venezuelan political life until his last days.
The documentary, made by an Argentine-Venezuelan team, explores the revolutionary legacy that Chávez left to his people. It also gives us a profound retrospective view on the Bolivarian Revolution, amidst the growing liberal wave that seeks to discredit the efforts of this process for the consolidation of the Great Motherland.
